Outstanding academic performance

One of the major reasons for this meteoric rise in the rankings is the quality of research conducted by the university. The UM6P benefits from competitive funding which supports internationally renowned publications. These results allow the university to stand out not only regionally, but also on the global stage.

In addition to research, the UM6P is distinguished by a balanced academic environmentmarked by a staff-student ratio which promotes quality supervision. In addition, the strong presence of doctoral students contributes to the intellectual dynamics and scientific productivity of the university.

International openness and industrial innovation

The UM6P also reinforces its attractiveness through its international openness. It attracts students and staff from around the world, and benefits from numerous global collaborations with leading universities and companies. This international dimension is a key criterion in the evaluation of university performance by Times Higher Education.

The university also excels in industrial innovation, thanks to its numerous patents resulting from pioneering research. This commitment to applied research, at the service of industry, strengthens the position of UM6P as a leader in innovation in Morocco and Africa.

A rigorous methodology for assessing excellence

The Times Higher Education ranking is based on a methodology that evaluates several criteria such as the quality of teaching, the impact of research, internationalization and innovation. Data comes from several sources, including direct contributions from UM6P, Elsevier statistics for publications and patents, and reputation surveys. This rigorous process ensures that only the highest performing universities are recognized.
