French rap is experiencing a new, somewhat unexpected clash between Booba and 404Billy30-year-old rapper from Villiers-le-Bel. The confrontation begins on social networks and could turn into a series of diss tracks.
The history of this rivalry dates back to 2023, when 404Billy attacked Rohff for his support of Nahel’s motheryoung man who died during a police intervention. At the time, Booba had sided with 404Billy. The conflict grew when Booba decided to publish old private messages from 404Billy, accusing him of plagiarism. The Duke of Boulogne obviously did not fail to deride these accusations: “I see that there is excitement around this boloss, we will see if it responds! He never speaks, he knows why.”
Faced with these provocations, 404Billy quickly responded by challenging Booba in the American style, on a series of diss tracks. Booba’s response was not long in coming. The rapper continued the barbs: “The problem is that I couldn’t answer him, he’s no one’s guy. How to clash with a stranger in music? What misery, what suffering…”
But 404Billy seems determined to release a sound against Booba: “Is he your guy that scares all of you in the industry? He blocked me. He’s the one who starts, I smoke him, he flees. Pathetic. Stop feeling hot and come on, let’s rap, I’ll turn you off. You don’t even have cardio anymore, seeing you rap is like seeing Tyson in a ring at 58.”
