Recently, Soyeon announced during the 2024 MelOn Music Awards that the group members had all decided to renew their contract with CUBE Entertainment.

On November 2, CUBE Entertainment then made it official that all five members of (G)I-DLE had renewed their contracts with the agency, stating:
“Hello, this is CUBE Entertainment.
We would like to provide an update regarding (G)I-DLE contract renewals.
After extensive discussions, CUBE Entertainment successfully renewed the contracts of all (G)I-DLE members, including Soyeon, whose initial contract had already ended, as well as Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua, whose contracts There was still time left.
