An unmissable event on the French-speaking scene every year, the Côte-d'Or Festival Song offers a unique show, presented by Jérôme Anthony, with the best musicians in France, and reveals, through a singing competition, some -one of music's greatest hopes.
A great musical show revealing talents
The godfather of the 2024 edition is the famous singer and musician Thomas Dutronc, known for his numerous successes in French song and gypsy jazz such as “Comme un manouche sans guitar” and “J’aime plus Paris”; and for his collaborations with his father Jacques Dutronc, Eddy Mitchell, Jeff Goldblum, Stacey Kent, Diana Krall, and even Iggy Pop. “ Thomas Dutronc is kind enough to present the prizes to the winners and to perform his successes live »rejoices Mario Barravecchia, creator of the Festival.
The competition will highlight:
- The performer category: the candidates will sing the successes of yesterday and today in their own way
- The songwriter category: candidates will produce and perform an original creation on stage
« New this year, the first two in each category will be directly admitted to the final casting of The Voice in Paris”adds the former Star Academy finalist. Some well-known names from the artistic world will be present as jurors, including agent Vincent Carpentier, singer-songwriter Nazim Khaled, who has written for Kendji Girac, Amir and Claudio Capéo, and producer Noam Kaniel. The media J’aime Dijon will also be part of the jury.
As for musicians, the greatest from Place de Paris will still be present to liven up the evening, under the direction of guitarist and arranger Mao Blanc. On the program?
