Jimin and Jung Kook, members of K-pop boy band BTS, will star in a new travel show coming soon to Disney+.
Two members of the phenomenon boy band BTS, Jimin and Jung Kook, are set to appear in a new travel reality series on Disney+.
Titled “Are You Sure?!”, the series was announced Tuesday via a statement from BTS’s label, Big Hit Music, and their parent company, Hybe.
“Are You Sure?!” is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 8. According to the release, it will follow Jimin and Jung Kook as they travel across three locations in three countries: New York City, Jeju Island, South Korea, and Sapporo, Japan.
The eight-part series will show the duo “enjoying both a summer ocean and a snowy ski resort,” “giving fans of the group a behind-the-scenes look at their road trip,” as Deadline explains.
Tour in 2023
The series was filmed in 2023, before the two K-pop stars enlisted for their mandatory military service in South Korea, the magazine said.
This is the first travel reality show exclusively for Jimin and Jung Kook, but not the first of its kind for BTS, who have long offered travel-related content through Hybe’s Weverse platform.
It should also be noted that it was confirmed on Tuesday that Jin, the only member of the group to have completed his military service, would participate in the next torch relay for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
