And as for the whole of France, France Inter largely dominates the competition with 1.41 million listeners in the region. , 100,000 more than 2023. And a now very clear lead ahead of Franceinfo, which however falls back slightly with 1.08 million people informed, a loss of 39 000 regulars compared to the start of the 2023 school year.

If it plunges at the national level, even losing its silver medal for the first time in more than twenty years, RTL weakens more slightly in the Ile-de-France region. The station on avenue Charles-de-Gaulle in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine), marked in particular by the arrival of Thomas Sotto on his morning show this season, is listened to every day by 846,000 people in and in neighboring departments (-35,000).

The fall is more marked for RMC, with 510,000 listeners, down by 176,000 faithful. A figure to put into perspective since the start of the 2023 school year was marked by the World Cup. For its part, Europe 1 moved back to fifth place with 491,000 souls, despite a drop of 16,000 people.

The biggest surprise of this 2024 school year concerns the musicals. Exit the leadership of Skyrock. Nostalgia takes off, with 487,000 fans of songs from the 1980s and 1990s (+91,000). It is thus ahead of France Culture (468,000 people) and therefore Skyrock, in clear decline. The current rap hits have 457,000 fans, 99,000 fewer than last year. “It’s Sky, you don’t have to worry,” laughs a competitor. They experience strong increases as well as strong decreases depending on the rest of the market and the musical programming. »

Behind NRJ, ninth with 397,000 Ile-de-France residents (-16,000), Rire et Chansons made a nice breakthrough. The grid of sketches and music entertains 335,000 people every day, 71,000 more than the same period a year earlier. Chérie FM is also in the area of ​​good progress, thanks to 254,000 pairs of ears (+51,000) while the wave is more difficult for FIP (216,000 addicts, -52,000), Fun Radio (142,000 listeners, – 57,000) or Europe 2, which falls below the 100,000 recipient mark, being overtaken by Generations, Tropiques FM and Nova!
