Cathedrals, churches, abbeys, temples, synagogues, and mosques: is rich in an exceptional religious heritage, both in terms of its diversity and its historical depth. Mainly Christian, this heritage expanded in the 20th century with the construction of mosques and places of spirituality from Asia, further enriching this cultural and spiritual heritage.
In a secular country with a Christian tradition, what role does religious heritage play today? Why is it so fascinating beyond the community of believers? What are its particularities in relation to secular heritage, and how does it continue to bring citizens together, as during the fire of Notre-Dame cathedral in ? Finally, what is the future of these places in the heart of cities and countryside, and who is ensuring their preservation?
To answer these questions, Aurélie Godefroy and David Milliat will host this special program, which will take place in the nave of the Collège des Bernardins, a jewel of Cistercian architecture in the heart of Paris.

Celebrated live from the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima church in Mamoudzou (Mayotte)
For the Solemnity of Christ the King which closes the liturgical year, The Lord's Day goes to Mayotte, this small French island nestled between Madagascar and Mozambique. It is the Notre-Dame-de-Fatima parish which welcomes us in the eponymous church. Built on the heights of Mamoudzou, it brings together every Sunday a large assembly of Mahorais, happy to celebrate the Lord to the sound of the djembe and the guitar.
Preacher and President: Father Bienvenu Kasongo, priest of Notre-Dame-de-Fatima parish.
