Rohff still believes he is the victim of a boycott

Some platforms and stores would not play the game.

Rohff has just made a remarkable comeback with “FITNA”, his new solo album released last week. An album that follows “Grand Monsieur”, and which has been teased for a long time by the artist. We do not know how much the rapper had planned to sell in the first week, but visibly, the figures are below his expectations. Because the Father of the Rap Game just turned on the FNACbut also the Spotify streaming platform, by accusing him of boycotting his project and not putting it forward.

Housni has indeed been on a rant throughout the week, stating in particular that some FNACs (the one in Thiais) have reportedly refused copies of his albumbut also that Spotify would have done everything not to put the songs from “FITNA” on the playlist. Of course, this could well prevent your sales figures from taking off. However, this time, the brands have chosen to respond to the rapper’s accusations, notably FNAC.

The brand responded by revealing photos of store shelves filled with “FITNA” albums to show that the record was indeed visible for everyone. However, this is not the first time that Rohff has declared himself the victim of a boycott by certain media, as in 2021 when “Grand Monsieur” was released. But it is also not the first time that he has looked for excuses to justify his somewhat low sales. We remember in particular the famous “because of the snow” at the time of the release of “La Cuenta”.
