In promotion for his new album “Nazaland”, a 14-track project with Tiakola, Maes, Tayc, Ninho, Keblack and Jul, the French rapper spoke about the famous Franco-Cameroonian MMA fighter whom he had teased by the passed following his defeat against Baki caused by a thorn in his toe.
In an interview with Brut before the release of his new opus, Naza found himself with the media aboard a boat on a lake to answer questions from several personalities he is close to such as Gradur, Redouane Bougheraba, KeBlack and even Cédric Doumbè. A few months ago, the singer made fun of the former Glory champion by making fun of his beard during a television appearance, “It shines too much, it looks like a garland”. “If there’s a good guy I’m shivering with, it’s Naza. Charrier, Naza, it’s complicated with her big belly.”, the MMA practitioner replied with humor. Subsequently, in a video, Naza also made fun with Gradur about Doumbé’s defeat against Baki due to a splinter in his foot.
For the media Brut, Naza explained his links with Cédric Doumbé by revealing that he appreciates him enormously. The rapper expressed great admiration for Doumbè, calling him “someone that I really like” and who attributed his interest in MMA, stating that he started following the combat sport after being “hyped ” by the French fighter. Naza underlines that Doumbè is the only fighter he supports “crazy”: “Someone I really like.” If I watch MMA, it’s really because of him. I watched because he hyped me. He’s the only fighter I can stand crazy about.”.
