She’s a real fighter. Since she was little, Sabrina Perquis, discovered in season 5 of Secret Story, has been fighting against cystic fibrosis, a genetic disease which mainly affects the lungs and the pancreas. In 2020, the now health and well-being blogger published a book recounting her fight against the disease. In I had to die at 7 years old – My fight against cystic fibrosis, she retraces her terrible journey. Despite the difficulties and her multiple organ transplants, the young woman establishes herself as a true force of nature. But on August 25, 2023, Sabrina Perquis learned very bad news. She confided to her subscribers that she was affected by thyroid cancer and that she “collapsed” when she heard the news. Friday June 21, 2024, it was a similar announcement that the former reality TV star unfortunately made to her fans.
At the time, she was very shocked by the news of her cancer. “I was going to do a thyroid echo at the request of my diabetic who had felt something on palpation without telling me too much about it (so as not to worry). While performing the examination the doctor began with: ‘Don’t don’t move, I see something then you have to do a biopsy but for me it’s cancer…'”, she explained at the time on her Instagram account. After several months of treatment, Sabrina Perquis finally managed to overcome it. Unfortunately, this is another hard blow that falls on her. Friday June 21 (…)
