Loic seems to have had a lot on his heart since the broadcast of Married at first sight 2024. On June 16, the 28-year-old paramedic spoke on Instagram to discuss the results of Ophélie and him in front of the experts. And there was one detail that touched him.
At the start of his experience, Loïc learned that experts had found him to be 79% compatible. Being a great romantic, he hoped to find the woman of his life during filming. But everything didn’t go as planned. Following some blunders, his wife Ophélie completely closed herself off. Thus, they experienced a mixed wedding evening and honeymoon. If the young woman’s stay with her husband went well, she blamed him for not having heard from her. Same thing during the assessment in front of the experts. The blame was placed on him. But it seems that Loïc can’t take it anymore.

In his Instagram message published on Sunday, the young man wrote: “I have not yet spoken since the last episode of the review. What to say ? Once again, a lot of blame, a lot of blame placed on me as usual, but I got used to it… You have to summarize a story and there has to be a culpritso okay, I assume.” He then recalled that despite everything, he and Ophélie wanted to remain married at the end of the assessment in front of the experts. A decision which may have surprised because, since the beginning of the adventure, they only kissed on the day of the marriage at no time were they tactile.
“A little flashback, 8 months before, I signed up for this experience, certain of meeting the woman of my life, the future mother of my children even… But as you noticed, nothing happened as planned (even if a lot of things are filmed in a Netflix style, it must be said)… Platonic honeymoon, more or less good reunion and here we are in summary… Barely a few weeks between this wedding and the balance sheet. So I decide to stay married because I believe in the values of marriage and I don’t want to give up so quickly despite everything… So when it comes time to take stock, we decide, I say ‘we’, to give each other the chance to see each other again off camera, out of context of the experience…“, he continued.
