Two albums certified triple platinum (more than 300,000 sales), two double platinum, four platinum and four gold records… Such is Coldplay’s fine track record in France. Since the release of “Parachutes” in 2000, the British quartet has established itself as one of the most popular rock groups in the world, lining up hit after hit and sold-out tours. The current “Music of the Sphere World Tour”, started in March 2022, has already brought in $810 million in revenue over 132 dates, bringing together 7.66 million spectators on all continents. It’s already the third highest-grossing tour of all time! And it’s not over yet: 46 new concerts are scheduled between the months of June and November, including three exceptional dates at the Groupama Stadium near Lyon which will be held from this weekend, from June 22 to 25. Coincidence of the calendar, these shows will be the first to be held after the event release of the new single by Coldplay. Called “Feelslikeimfallinginlove”, this luminous pop track promises to be in line with the band’s unifying anthems. Good news: after an enticing first extract, it will be available in full this Friday, June 21, just in time for the Fête de la Musique!
