Several members of Michael Jackson’s family paid tribute to the King of Pop this Tuesday, June 25, on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of his death, which occurred in 2009, at the age of 50, following a overdose of medication administered by his doctor.
A palpable emotion. Fifteen years after his death, Michael Jackson received a vibrant tribute from several members of his family on social networks, starting with his son, Prince Jackson, who published a story to express his grief. “I miss you dad. The world was a better place when you were there,” it reads.
LaToya Jackson, the King of Pop’s sister, released a series of images showing him at different stages of his career. “You have changed the world in so many ways with such exuberant talent! We love you ! We will miss you forever!”, she wrote in the caption.
His brothers, Jackie and Tito Jackson, also expressed their emotion on this special day. “It’s hard to say that we have just spent 15 years without you. We miss you every day,” we can read in the message posted by the first.
Finally, TJ Jackson, his nephew, also paid tribute to the singer. “I miss you so much Uncle Michael. Thank you for everything you have done for me. I will always feel like the luckiest nephew in the world to have you as a source of strength, role model, and love. I love you forever,” he wrote.
As a reminder, Michael Jackson will be the subject of a biopic entitled “Jackson”, directed by Antoine Fuqua, and which will retrace the career of the King of Pop, from his childhood within the Jackson Five to his death on June 25, 2009 in his home in Los Angeles, at the age of 50. It is Jaafar Jackson, one of his nephews, who will play Michael Jackson on screen. Release scheduled for April 16, 2025 in France.
