Today, you only need to navigate on Google Maps to glimpse most of the spaces that populate our world. A hundred years ago, explorers had no choice but to go straight into the field. In two hours, this documentary series returns with great accuracy to the heroic journey of several adventurers. Without forgetting the impact of colonialism…

At 9:05 p.m. on France 5. Documentary directed by Bertrand Delais (France, 2024). 2 × 60 mins. Unpublished.

Before winning the César for best actress for Anatomy of a fall, Sandra Hüller played a contemporary art specialist in this absurd comedy, where we find two painting thieves taking refuge on a boat, forced to disguise themselves as Elvis and David Bowie to escape the authorities…

At 9:05 p.m. on Arte. Film directed by Peter Meister (Germany, 2021). 1h40. With Bernard Schütz, Jacob Matschenz, Sandra Hüller. Rebroadcast.

Less loved than its two predecessors, this third part is not to be thrown away. Sometimes gripping, sometimes stupid (a talking dinosaur… frankly?), we are witnessing good quality entertainment. With the long-awaited return of Sam Neill, largely absent from the second episode.

At 9:00 p.m. on TF1 Séries Films. Film directed by Joe Johnston (USA, 2001). 1h40. With Sam Neill, William H. Macy, Tea Leoni. Rebroadcast.
