While Pascal Obispo was sitting in front of the pianoand Maureen held the microphone firmly in her hand, silence reigned surprisingly on the set. To everyone's surprise, the singer then spoke, but to say words that were very far from the lyrics of his own song. “The piano doesn’t work”he exclaims, before several technicians rush to the scene to try to resolve the problem.
Big discomfort live in the prime of the Star Academy
Barely off stage, Nikos Aliagas reappears to try to manage the situation with humor. “Never mind, my Pascal, we’ll sort it out!”says the host to Pascal Obispo who, despite the problem, kept his calm. After a few seconds, the notes of the piano finally sounded and reassured all the viewers of the show.
Pascal Obispo and Maureen were able to sing freely the title “Lucie”thus allowing the young student to deliver a more than respectable performance which did not fail to convince the jury of the Star Academy. Singing coach for the 2024 edition, Marlène Schaff particularly appreciated Maureen's performance, describing her voice as “wonderful”. Everything finally ended well after a bad start!
