Julien Doré talks about the death of his mother on the set of Daily

During his passage in DailyJulien Doré returned to the genesis of this project, explaining that he had a lot of difficulty finding his mother’s voice: “I go to my phone and search my voicemail for my mother’s voice. I realize that I can’t find her (…) and that I can’t listen to her voice.” This realization was difficult for the singer, as he found himself faced with the idea that he may have lost the memory of his mother’s voice. “There is a chasm (…) it turns out that the more time passes, the more someone’s voice fades from memory.” After a long search, Julien Doré finally managed to find a message from his mother which he decided to include in his cover: “I tell myself at that moment, as a son, not as an artist, that I have fixed something, that is to say that there, I will not be able to erase this voice, it is fixed somewhere.”

But he will also hear his grandmother’s voice.” Julien Doré’s son will also have the opportunity to discover the moments shared with his father during his childhood. In the clip which accompanies this cover, we see father and son having fun together, the little boy always appearing from back, because the singer wants to preserve his face, as he has always done.
