Breaking Benjamin has officially announced the release of his new single Awakenscheduled for Wednesday October 16, 2024. This news comes as the band continues to work on their highly anticipated next studio album, a few tracks of which have already been completed. The song is now available for pre-save on most streaming platforms.
During an interview last May, Breaking Benjamin guitarist Jasen Rauch revealed that the band had already completed several tracks and hoped to release new music by the end of the year. However, the full album could be pushed back to 2025 depending on the release schedule and label activity.
The highly anticipated return of Breaking Benjamin
Awaken will be Breaking Benjamin’s first unreleased track since 2020. The group, which has enjoyed immense success with tracks like Red Cold River et Torn In Twocontinues to delight his fans with his unique blend of powerful riffs and intense melodies. The release of this new single also heralds the start of a new era for the group, which is preparing to unveil even more new material in the months to come.

Keith Wallen, the band’s guitarist, mentioned that Breaking Benjamin has spent much of the past few years juggling touring and recording new material. “We have several songs ready, and we can’t wait to share them with the world”he confided in an interview. The group therefore seems more motivated than ever to offer its fans a new musical experience, while keeping the essence of what makes their success.
