A year and a half after the immense success of the film Against the grain (Blame Mia in original version), Noah and Nick have made their comeback on Prime Video. In Against the grain 2the characters played by Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara experienced difficult times with the return of Nick's mother, an ex of the latter but also of Sofia, the rather sexy new colleague of the handsome guy. Warning, the following contains spoilers. At the end of the film, we left Nick and Noah separated: after seeing his lover kiss Sofia in front of him, Noah found comfort in Michael and slept with him. During our meeting with the actress last November, the interpreter of Noah confided that the third part of the saga is her “favorite movie“. “You're going to see different Noah and Nick. They are more mature, they have changed a lot. That's why it's my favorite because it feels like a different world compared to the very first one.“ explains Nicole Wallace who also highlights the “great outfits” et “great places” which you will be able to see in this third part, scheduled for 2025 on Prime Video.
Nicole Wallace confirms a time jump for the sequelAgainst the grain
As with the second film which takes place a year after the end of the first part, the third feature film will also see a time jump. But Nicole Wallace could not confirm its duration, this information must remain secret for the moment! Filming of the third film is in any case already finished since the actors filmed the last two films at the same time. In our interview, Nicole Wallace also spoke about the final scene in which Noah discovers a message from Nick on his father's grave. “Seeing the sentence that Nick left him is a way of saying: 'Now that I've finished this chapter, I can focus on what I want to do, decide whether to let Nick go or something else.' You’ll see in the next film!” she teased.
