The sky over Fort-de-France will finally burst into flames. The “Boucans de la Baie”, the highlight of the end-of-year celebrations, mark this 25th edition as the big launch of 2025.
Scheduled for December 30, the spectacular fireworks display was postponed due to social tensions on the island. But the wait will soon be nothing more than a distant memory, since this Saturday, January 4, spectators will finally discover the show, whose theme is inspired by the sea this year.
After several weeks of uncertainty, the start of the show will be at 8:15 p.m. The fireworks, fired from the ramparts of Fort Saint-Louis, promise to captivate the 35,000 expected spectators.
This anniversary edition will be an opportunity to discover new pyrotechnic effects and musical entertainment, all inspired by the mysteries and wonders of the sea.
