THE Walt Disney Studios have revealed a fourth teaser poster for their new film Lilo & Stitcha remake of the eponymous animated film, which will be released in theaters next summer. This time, Stitch wishes you a happy new year 2025 in his own way by emerging from a literally destroyed disco ball.
Stitch celebrates 2025 with you
A new poster of Lilo & Stitchsecond of the name, was unveiled this evening by Disney to celebrate the transition to the new year 2025 and remind us that Stitch will arrive in cinemas in photorealistic form this time. The poster features the CGI adaptation of the animated genetic experiment 626 (later named Stitch), who smashes a reflective disco ball and wears a headband marking the new year. The ball being a major symbol of the festival. It should be noted that this poster is rare in the collection of marketing materials for the new film, as it is not a parody of another film of Disney unlike that linked to Mufasa : The Roi Lion or the one celebrating Vaiana 2.
The recent marketing strategy is similar to that of the original animated classic dating back over 20 years, in which Stitch introduces himself into classic animated films from Disney (via poster or teaser) while revealing very little about the film's actual story.
Live-action reinterpretation of the animated classic Disney of 2002, Lilo & Stitch is the wildly funny and touching story of a lonely Hawaiian girl and the fugitive alien who helps her mend her broken family.
Directed by Dean Fleischer Campthe Oscar-nominated filmmaker behind the animated feature Marcel the Shell (With his Shoes)the film stars Sydney Elizabeth Agudong , Billy Magnussen , Tia Carrere , Hannah Waddingham , Chris Sanders with Courtney B. Vance et Zach Galifianakisas well as Maia Kealoha who is participating for the first time in a cinematographic project.
Lilo & Stitch is produced by Jonathan Eric, Dan Lin, with Louie Provost, Tom Peitzman et Ryan Halprin as executive producers. Originally planned for release on Disney+, Lilo & Stitch will now arrive exclusively in cinemas on May 21, 2025 and two days later across the Atlantic.
