So, superheroes aren't the only experts when it comes to derivative works! So, what is your program in these first days of December? And above all, has anyone treated themselves to a Marvel/DC Comics/Star Wars/Hello Kitty Advent calendar? On your keyboards and have a great week everyone!
Wicked follows the journey of the legendary witches of the world of Oz. Cynthia Erivo plays Elphaba, a young woman misunderstood because of the unusual color of her green skin who does not even suspect the extent of her powers. At her side, global pop superstar Ariana Grande plays Glinda who, as popular as she is privileged, does not yet know the true nature of her heart. Their meeting at Shiz University, in the fantastical world of Oz, marks the beginning of an unlikely but deep friendship. However, their relationship with The Wizard of Oz will undermine this friendship and see their paths drift apart. While Glinda, thirsty for popularity, allows herself to be seduced by power, Elphaba's determination to remain true to herself and those around her will have consequences as unfortunate as they are unexpected. Their extraordinary adventures in the land of Oz will ultimately lead them to fulfill their destiny by becoming respectively the Good and Wicked Witch of the West.
