We learned a few months ago that the popular series The eye of the storm was going to make the jump from the small to the big screen, with a special Christmas film. We will be able to follow Isabelle Gagnon (Christine Beaulieu) in her preparations for the big annual party… which aren’t going at all as she would have liked!

Obviously, the Quebec public will find all the beloved characters in the show, played by Véronique Cloutier, Patrick Hivon, Catherine Souffront, Danielle Proulx, Luc Senay, Emi Chicoine, Juliette Aubé and Joey Bélanger.

Nearly four months before the release of the film, scheduled for November 8, a first extract was shared on social networks. We see the Gagnon clan trying as best they can to take a simple group photo… and it doesn’t go as planned! It sets the tone!

Let’s recall the synopsis of the film:

“Isabelle Gagnon firmly believes in the magic of Christmas: the recipes, the exchange of gifts, the naughty elves and the traditional family photos… Her preparations begin the day after Halloween! But this year, everything seems to be stacked against her. Everyone has other plans and, in these times of blended families, Isabelle will have to pedal very hard to keep her gang around her at Christmas.”

The film The Christmas cyclone will be in theaters across Quebec starting November 8.
