This evening, TF1 is broadcasting Suicide Squad, a film from the DC team by David Ayer, with Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto in the role of the Joker, an actor who will also be featured a little later on the same channel in the second half of the evening, but in the Marvel universe this time and as a vampire in the film Morbius.

The Suicide Squad film saw an independent sequel in 2021 written and directed by James Gunn, with an almost identical title, The Suicide Squad, and it is precisely with these two films that we are going to play today. The latter remembers: “We worked together for six months and we never exchanged a single word outside of the period from “Action” to “Cut”. I literally haven’t met him yet. (…) He was fully into his character of the Joker.
