Today, many Harry Potter fans have decided to turn their backs on Rowling, and for good reason. While she is at the head of one of the biggest franchises in the world, it has held, on several occasions, transphobic commentsnot hesitating from time to time to put on a diaper again.

Today, she decided to speak out by directly attacking two actors who made her films successful, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.

JK Rowling attacks Harry and Hermione!

Please note, before getting to the heart of the matter, we prefer to warn you that This article is not intended to take sides with one or the other., even if the comments made by JK Rowling are more than regrettable and condemnable. Here we just report facts and nothing but facts.

But if you follow the news of the Harry Potter saga as a true Potterhead, you are aware that JK Rowling recently attacked Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson, but then, why? Well as we told you, the latter had more than questionable words towards trans people, clearly taking a position against them by repeatedly stating that trans women were not real women, and as a result, Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), have decided to dissociate themselves from the author.

If the creator of Harry Potter had not really reacted following the decision of this duo, it was on the social network X (formerly Twitter) that she did not hesitate to say what she thought of the situation , then responding to a user who declared that Daniel Radcilffe and Emma Watson owed him an apology.

Celebrities who rallied behind a movement to erode women’s hard-won rights and used their fame to encourage the transition of minors can save their apologies for traumatized detransitionists and vulnerable fans who rely on single-sex spaces .

Rowling

A license that has become problematic despite itself

Today, several Harry Potter fans have decided to turn their backs on the world-famous franchise, because of the comments made by JK Rowling. Unfortunately, this has many repercussions, and proof of this the title Hogwarts Legacy which, although having no link with the author, has been the target of several attacks through social networkswith certain Internet users who did not hesitate to categorize the developers but also the game as transphobic.

As a reminder, a Hary Potter series will appear to the delight of fans on HBO in 2026. However, unlike Hogwarts Legacy, here, JK Rowling has an important role in the development of this since she is a producer alongside Neil Blair and Ruth Kenley-Letts. And if some actors from the original films have said they are ready to make a small appearance, it is unlikely to see Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson.
