We are already at midway through spring break, But do not panic ! It’s not too late to take advantage! Do you want to enjoy it with your family or simply occupy your children to take a breather? Well 76 Actu has what you need! Here are our holiday tips in (Seine-) and surrounding areas.

Fun literary activities

On May 4 at 10:30 a.m., the Oscar Niemeyer Library is organizing a warm reading time for “little ones”. Children will be able to discover different stories to laugh, learn and dream. FREE ENTRANCE.

An introduction to philosophy, what do you think? This is, at first glance, rather surprising, but this is what the Oscar Niemeyer Library is offering on May 2 and 3 at 3 p.m. Registrations: bibliotheques.lehavre.fr

Finally, we offer you last literary event for young children. From birth, with their parents, they will be able to discover stories. The child will be able to decide which book they want to look at. It’s happening on May 4 at 10 a.m. at the Martin Luther King media library. FREE ENTRANCE.

Enjoy nature

We offer several activities related to nature to raise awareness about it.

On April 30 and May 3, come and discover land art in the cloister of Montivilliers Abbey. Children aged 8 to 12 will be able to create ephemeral works using local plants for a price of 4 euros. Reservation: billetterie.ville-montivilliers.fr

At the Armand Salacrou Library, on Tuesday April 30 at 3 p.m., children aged 5-7 will have the opportunity to participate, upon registration, in a workshop on the secrets of bees. Do you want to go for a walk while discovering gardening tips? This is what the family gardens of Le Havre are offering on Thursday, May 2. Activities and workshops at the Château de Grosmenil in Saint-Romain-de-Colbosc! For the last weekend of the holidays on May 4 and 5, Le Havre Seine Métropole, in collaboration with the La Hêtraie association, is organizing the 7th edition of “Gromesnil in all its states”. Exhibitors of garden supplies, craftsmen, associations, events, shows, exhibitions and conferences, there is something for everyone. This event raises awareness about nature and it’s free.

Watching or practicing: sport brings everyone together

We start with the bike. Throughout the holiday period, La Roue Libre organizes a cycling course for children aged 6 to 12. For four days, for 1.5 hours per day, either in the morning or in the afternoon, children will be able to have fun and improve their cycling skills for 10 euros per week. The Games are also being prepared in Le Havre. The Don’t Panik Team, a Le Havre boxing club, is organizing a boxing gala on Saturday May 4 at the Pôle Simone Veil in Le Havre. (Re)discover Le Havre heritage

To learn about the architecture of Perret, we offer you a night tour of the city with a guide and the actor Jean-Pierre Guiner to discover or rediscover the city of Le Havre in an original way. The Oscar Niemeyer Library is preparing a makeup workshop on Saturday April 4 at 2 p.m. Children can come and be dolled up for free to look like the character of their dreams: tiger, pirate, superhero, etc. Free entry.

To end the holidays, come dance and have fun in the Grande Ecole restaurant. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., have a great time at a modern-day tea dance with DJ Tony McCarthy. It is free and open to all.

The 7th art seen differently

Until May 4, the Le Studio du Havre cinema is offering its horror film festival for children. With a session at 3.20 euros, immerse yourself in mysterious worlds with films such as The Frog Prophecy, Beetlejuice, The Gremlins and many others.

From May 3 to 5, the Fenêtre sur Court association is organizing Kinocane. This is the very first Le Havre challenge to produce a short film in just 48 hours! The screening of the works will take place on Sunday May 5 at 8:45 p.m. at the Le Sirius cinema.

Get your hands dirty with creative hobbies

It’s time for games

The Caucriauville Media Library offers a video game tournament for you to compete with family or friends on famous and friendly games. Registrations: bibliotheques.lehavre.fr

Get together around board games on April 3 at the Léopold Sédar Senghor Media Library from 3 p.m. Several games will be available for you to relax during a moment of union. FREE ENTRANCE.
