You're not interested enough in social media to follow several hundred drivers and teams, but you don't like to miss any of the little stories that animate MotoGP and the other categories? This daily section is made for you, early in the morning, to start the day well while waiting for more substantial articles. For now, Fabio Di Giannantonio is giving us reassuring news about his left shoulder.
Shoulder surgery after the Thai Grand Prix, two rounds before the end of the season, Fabio Di Giannantonio made the choice to compromise his end of the 2024 season, to start 2025 well. The road to returning to the top of his form is however long, and his training is built step by step, as he confided to Barcelona, when he came to attend the first pre-season tests.
Since then, the Italian has shared each important stage of his rehabilitation on his social networks. After returning to the exercises gently, he started training in the water. However, he announced last week that there was still “efforts to be made before putting 2024 in the archives”.
This week, it’s a more optimistic message that the VR46 pilot wanted to share: “This shoulder is coming back better ????”. Things are therefore speeding up in this new year, and that's good news, since the first runs of the 2025 season are just around the corner.
In a few weeks, number 49 will be back on his bike, but will not be in top form. Fabio Di Giannantonio had already set the deadline for a 100% return to the first Grand Prix of the season, in Thailand. Time will tell whether this objective was realistic or not.
