The firefighters were not idle in Les this Friday morning. They contained a fire not far from Pain de Sucre, then to rescue four victims whose electric cart overturned on the road to Fort Napoléon.

Firefighters intervened twice in Terre-de-Haut, in Les Saintes, this Friday, January 3. Shortly before 11:30 a.m., Route du Pain de Sucre – -joli, they were called to a fire on an electric vehicle. When they arrived, the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. The seven firefighters present on site contained the fire using a hose. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

An hour later, shortly before 12:30 p.m., they intervened again for a traffic accident, on the Fort Napoléon road. According to our information, it was an electric cart which overturned with 4 people on board: a woman and a man, both aged 40, and two children (a girl and a boy) aged 11 and 4 years. The first three victims were rescued in a light condition while the third was found unharmed but shocked by the event.

All victims were consulted by the doctor on duty. After regulation by the SAMU, they were transported to the pier on a ship heading to Trois-Rivières then were transported to the CHBT.

The intervention mobilized law enforcement officers as well as the SAMU on site.
