MotoGP: Gino Borsoi lifts the veil on Pramac Yamaha’s Moto2 2025 project

Gino Borsoi, the manager of Pramac Racing, is at the heart of multiple major projects. Currently engaged in the MotoGP title fight alongside Jorge Martin on a Ducati, he is also preparing for a major move to Yamaha, while leading the launch of a new Moto2 team for the 2025 season.

The Italian takes the reins of Moto2 project under the aegis of Pramacan initiative in collaboration with
Yamaha. From next season,
Pramac will replace the current Yamaha Master Camp team led by Angel Nieto Junior. This partnership, based on collaboration with VR46 and featuring
Ayumu Sasaki et Jeremy Alcobawill give way to the structure led by Borsoi. From the first MotoGP tests in Valencia, scheduled just after the season finale, the riders Yamaha will be supervised by the team Pramac on a technical equal footing with the Yamaha factory team.

The Italian, nicknamed “Tiger Tony”, has already been the subject of discussions to join the Pramac MotoGP team, but Yamaha ultimately opted for a more experienced pilot to begin the project. treecurrently with Marc VDS, could make his debut in 2025 under the Pramac banner in Moto2, since his current position will be occupied by Jake
Dixon
next season.

Despite his busy schedule, Borsoi does not lose sight of Pramac’s main objective in 2024:
clinch the MotoGP title. The team manager is, however, determined to put together a competitive Moto2 team, aiming for the best results from the start: «
