Hit in the calf on a support, the opening half of Stade Toulousain limped off the pitch, replaced by Juan Cruz Mallia.

Less than a month before the start of the fall tour of the XV of – which begins on November 9 against Japan – Romain Ntamack left injured with Stade Toulousain against Clermont (48-14), this Saturday to Ernest-Wallon. The French opening half, starting in the hinge alongside the Japanese Naoto Saito, remained on the ground after poor support on a defensive withdrawal.

Quickly taken care of by the staff and helped by two trainers to leave, the French international was replaced in the 37th minute by the Argentinian Juan Cruz Mallia, holding the back of his right leg.

“I didn’t see the physiotherapist or the doctor. It seems that he felt something in the calf, but nothing joint or very, very serious a priori”declared David Mélé, assistant coach at Stade Toulousain, after the match.

Coming out in the 72nd minute, international full-back Thomas Ramos “would have taken a blow to the hand but nothing serious according to the doctor”added David Mélé.
