MotoGP, Indonesia J1: between rescue and repairs, Marc Marquez (Ducati/7) had a busy day

Marc Marquez may not have been the fastest of the day, nor even the best rider on a Ducati GP23, but he stood out during the first MotoGP tests in Indonesia, adding a dose of spectacle and in a good mood in the paddock.

The Spaniard had a string of impressive and unexpected moments, notably during a spectacular rescue in Mandalika. When he appeared to lose the front of his motorcycle in a right turn,
Mark took out of his repertoire one of these maneuvers of which he has the secret, managing to miraculously recover his
Ducati by pressing on the knee and extending the legs to avoid falling. A feat worthy of the best years with Hondabut this time carried out on the handlebars of his Ducati.

But the most memorable moment came after the session ended.
Pecco Bagnaia
out of gas on the track, crossed paths with Mark. Without hesitation, the future teammate of Bagnaia played the taxi driver by towing it into the pits.

Marc Marquez: between acrobatics and good humor this Friday in Indonesia

A scene that sparked laughter in the garage
Ducatiespecially when we saw Marc Marquez push Pecco first with his hands, then with his legs to help him move forward. A gesture which shows the good atmosphere between the two drivers, before finding themselves in direct competition next year for the world title.

On a sporting level, the day of Mark was correct without being exceptional. He ensured his direct qualification in Q2 by setting the seventh time, although he was beaten by Marco Bezzecchififth, and by the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararosixth. Despite this, he was able to save the furniture and stay in the race for the first places.

It may just be a day of testing, but moments like those offered by Mark are rare and help make MotoGP even more captivating. A complicity and relaxation which contrast with the fierce competition which awaits them next year, where every point will count in the fight for the title.
