The climate in Morocco will be marked by a diversity of weather conditions depending on the region. Tropical Depression Kirk: Morocco slightly impacted
The tropical depression Kirkwhich weakens after crossing the cold waters of the Atlantic, continues its path towards Western Europe. As it prepares to hit France, Spain and Portugal with rains abundant and violent winds Thursday and Friday, its influence will be indirectly felt in Morocco.
Indeed, although the Kingdom will not suffer a direct impact, this depression will weaken the Azores anticyclone, which plays a crucial role in blocking depressions in the region. This situation should lead to the arrival of cooler and more humid air currents in the north-west of Morocco, causing a slight drop in temperatures and the possibility of some local rains. The Atlantic coasts, for their part, could experience vagues relatively high until Thursday noon.
So, even if the influence of Kirk remains moderate on Moroccan territory, it announces changes in weather conditionsparticularly in the north of the country.
