At the metro exit, it's a rapidly changing neighborhood which is being built. A major construction site is underway in the southwest of Toulouse, as part of the Urban Renewal Project (PRU) of La Reynerie.
Around Place Abbal, residents will be able to find a health center, new housing, but also a future shopping center. Professionals interested in setting up are invited to come forward.
Six new businesses for 2025
Among the three constructions that emerge from the ground, the future Germaine-Peyroles residence which will accommodate, on the ground floor, 790 m² of premises.
Residents will be able to find there six new businesses: two restaurants, a mini market, a butcher, a bakery and a hairdressing salon. Now it's time to find managers.
The National Agency for Territorial Cohesion (ANCT) launched a call for applications by offering “advantageous conditions to facilitate the installation of traders”, she indicated this Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
The six premises “will be delivered semi-furnished with basic equipment”: false ceilings, tiling, windows, electrical outlets, etc. All to allow “rapid and flexible customization”, promises the ANCT. She adds that “rent exemptions may be granted to support the start-up of activities”.
Submission of applications before January 7
Interested professionals have until January 7, 2025to submit their application by email to [email protected]
To be complete, the file must include “a cover letter, a CV detailing [son] experience, a presentation of the merchant concept, a merchandising plan, a business plan, as well as financial guarantees and any committed partnership.”
The pre-selected candidates will then be interviewed next January “by a committee which will assess the relevance and feasibility of their projects”, concludes the ANCT.
Also a new health center
In addition to the future shopping center, what will we find in this new district?
– A multi-professional healthcare home of 1,310 m² is being built with, on the ground floor, a pharmacy. The 13 expected liberal professionals will have their offices on the 1st and 2nd floors. Five general practitioners, two nurses, a podiatrist, a psychiatrist, an orthoptist, a midwife, a dietician and a psychologist should settle there.
– 40 new housing units are also planned.
This new district in La Reynerie will be delivered in the 2nd quarter of 2025.
