    Netanyahu to the WSJ: «I will not sign an agreement to end the war in Gaza»

    Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu in an interview with the Wall Street Journal, highlighted in some Israeli media including Haaretz, said that he will not sign a hostage agreement if this implies the end of the war in Gaza, which can only end with the complete removal of Hamas. “We will not leave them in power in Gaza, just 30 kilometers from Tel Aviv. It won't happen,” he said, quoted by Haaretz. Netanyahu told interviewer Elliot Kaufmann that Israel was “winning big” against its enemies: it had weakened Hamas and Hezbollah and brought about the fall of the Assad regime in Syria, he stressed.

    Funerals in Gaza for 19 people killed in Israel attacks

    The funerals of 19 people, including 12 children, killed in Israeli attacks which occurred on Friday and during the night, took place today in the Gaza Strip. An attack launched on Friday afternoon hit a residential building in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing at least seven Palestinians, including five children and a woman, and wounding 16 others, health officials said. In Gaza City, another Israeli attack launched on a house overnight killed 12 people, including seven children and two women, according to the Ahli hospital, where the bodies were taken.
