Justin Trudeau presented a reshuffled Cabinet on Friday morning which makes way for two Quebecers, at a time when the Liberal leader is going through his worst leadership crisis.
In total, eight deputies joined the Council of Ministers, including Quebecers Rachel Bendayan and Élisabeth Brière.

The Prime Minister had planned to announce changes earlier in the week, but the unexpected departure of Chrystia Freeland on Monday shook things up.
Here are the changes that are announced:
Dominic LeBlanc, who urgently became Minister of Finance, is relieved of the Ministry of Public Security.
This important file falls to David McGuinty, an elected official from Ottawa who supervised the special committee of parliamentarians on foreign interference.
The Member of Parliament for Outremont, Rachel Bendayan, takes charge of the Ministry of Official Languages. She also became the associate minister of public security.
For her part, the member for Sherbrooke, Élisabeth Brière, takes Marie-Claude Bibeau's place at National Revenue. The latter recently announced that she would not run again. She therefore becomes the third Quebecer in a row to take the helm of the Revenue Agency.
Anita Anand, who already has two positions, keeps that of Transport, but loses that of Treasury Board, to the benefit of the Acadian Ginette Petitpas Taylor.

Minister Anand obtains the file on Internal Trade, a new portfolio probably created in reaction to the threats of 25% tariffs from the next American president Donald Trump, whose inauguration is scheduled for January 20.
The Ministry of Housing is entrusted to Ontarian Nathaniel Erskine-Smith, replacing Sean Fraser, who announced Monday that he would not run in the next election.
- Gary Anandasangaree becomes Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs as well as Minister responsible for the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency.
- Terry Duguid becomes Minister of Sports and Minister responsible for Canada Economic Development for the Prairies.
- Darren Fisher becomes Minister of Veterans Affairs and Associate Minister of National Defence.
- Ruby Sahota takes the helm of Democratic Institutions and becomes minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario.
