Around 2:30 a.m. this Friday, firefighters had to intervene for a roof fire at the Le Copacabana nightclub, rue Buffon, in Beaune.

Around thirty firefighters on site
According to the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Sdis) 21, significant resources were committed to fight this fire: two fire vans from Beaune and Meursault, two large ladders from Beaune and Dijon Transvaal, a fire tanker super forest from Beaune in hydraulic support, an ambulance from Saint-Jean-de-Losne, a health support vehicle with nurse and doctor from the health service, the command post vehicle from Gevrey-Chambertin and command vehicles from Beaune, Cis les deux Côtes, Gevrey and Nolay. In total, 34 firefighters were mobilized.
The fire was extinguished using four fire hoses. No casualties have been reported. At the time of the fire, the nightclub was closed.
