the essential
Three men must be indicted this Wednesday, December 18 in Toulouse. They are suspected of arson of the cars of two football coaches from Colomiers at the end of October. A father, unhappy that his son was not playing enough, decided to send the commando.
The consequences were almost dramatic for two families in western Toulouse. At the end of October, two arson attacks broke out 20 km away. Each time, a car was set on fire. The two designated targets are none other than US Colomiers football coaches in charge of U11s, that is to say players under 11 years old.

INFO LA DEPECHE. The cars of two football coaches burned near Toulouse: three men arrested including the father of a young player
One of them, Kader, lost everything in Colomiers. The fire spread to his garage and initially made his house uninhabitable. It was his wife who noticed the blaze in the middle of the night and raised the alarm. The family was able to escape at the last minute but with difficulty from the blaze.
The co-trainer had suffered less damage but was just as shocked. Each had filed a complaint on their own, one at the gendarmerie, the other at a police station. It took a few hours to understand that, on the same night, these arson attacks had affected two men linked by a single commitment to serving children.
Testimonials and technical investigations
From then on, the matter was taken very seriously. The two files were joined and entrusted to specialists from the banditry suppression brigade (BRB). By cross-checking testimonies and carrying out technical investigations, they identified a trio at the heart of which is the father of a young player.
Frustrated at seeing his offspring on the substitutes’ bench a little too much, he ruminated on his revenge. Like some, he locked himself into the “Mbappé project”. An obsession that parents have, convinced that their child has all the talents to become a football prodigy and who cannot stand frustration.
Himself invested in sport
The father of the family, a 38-year-old man, himself also invested and well placed in a sports boxing club in western Toulouse, would therefore have orchestrated the burning, an hour apart, the same night , cars of the two coaches.
Placed in police custody with his two alleged accomplices, another father, aged 34, and a 19-year-old boy, he will now have to explain himself as part of an investigation.
These men, defended in particular by Mes Pierre Le Bonjour, Morgane Dupoux, Brice Zanin and Jean-Hubert Rougé, were awaiting their appearance before the judge of liberties and detention this Tuesday in order to be determined on their immediate future. Requisitions for a committal warrant have been taken.
This affair aroused great emotion to the point that all matches in the Haute-Garonne district were canceled on All Saints’ Day.
