A 20-year-old man was shot and killed on Tuesday evening around 11:30 p.m. in Aix-en-Provence (Bouches-du-Rhône), France Bleu Provence and franceinfo learned on Wednesday December 18 from sources close to the matter. When help arrived, the victim was already dead. This is a man known to the courts.
According to the first elements of the investigation, from a source close to the case to franceinfo, witnesses report having seen four men arrive in a Renault car at the level of another Opel car, inside in which there were three men.
Still according to these testimonies, these four men threatened the three others before one of them shot one of the occupants of the Opel Corsa. The victim was injured in the neck. The attackers managed to escape in the Opel car. According to a source close to the case at France Bleu Provence, it was a carjacking which degenerated.
When they inspected the crime scene, the police found two 9mm caliber shell casings. The Organized and Specialized Crime Division (DCOS) is investigating.
