Unhappy finalist for the 2024 African Ballon d’Or against overall winner Ademola Lookman (Nigeria, Atalanta), l’international Guinean Serhou Guirassy (Dortmund) expressed his reaction this Tuesday via his official X account.
“Dear brothers and sisters, even if the African Ballon d’Or was not awarded to me this year, that in no way takes away the pride I feel in having worn the colors of our dear Guinea high. Above all, I would like to thank you, family, teammates, coaches, friends, you, my people, for your unfailing support and trust. Your love, your strength and your solidarity carry me every day. I am convinced that this unity and this fraternity must be preserved and maintained, in all circumstances. Together we can accomplish great things. This is just the beginning. “We need to review education”, Guirassy reframes an Internet user
