Friday 14 July is a parade quite special waiting Toulouse on the occasion of the National Holiday.

Like last year, the July 14 parade will take place on rue Ozenne and will end on the allées Jules Guesde.

Alphajet and helicopters

But for the first time in Toulouse, an air component will take part in the parade: a Gendarmerie C135 helicopter, an Alpha Jet and a helicopter from SAMU 31.

The Alpha Jet and the C135 helicopter of the Gendarmerie will fly over Toulouse at the opening of the parade, around 11:30 am. The SAMU31 helicopter will be in action at the end of the parade.

The complete program

In detail, here is the complete program of the ceremony. Access is free and free for the parade as well as for the events.

  • 10:40 a.m.: Positioning completed of veterans’ troops and flag bearers.
  • 10:55 a.m.: Honors to the emblems
  • 11 a.m.: Arrival of the authorities at the place of the ceremony
  • 11:05 a.m.: Review of the troops
  • 11:05 a.m.: Presentation of decorations
  • 11:30 a.m.: Parade of air, foot and motorized troops
  • 12 p.m.: Song of the Marseillaise
  • 12:05 p.m .: Salute from the authorities to the commander of the troops then to the standard bearers of the veterans’ associations. Congratulations to the newly decorated by the authorities.
  • 12:15 p.m.: End of the ceremony

Three access points will be possible to attend (for the general public): rue Ozenne (at the level of the pharmacy), rue José Félix and Grand rue Nazareth. Access to the stands will be on the Esplanade des Français d’Afrique du .

Foot troops:

The Gendarmerie, the cadets of the National Gendarmerie, the 14th Parachute Infantry and Logistic Support Regiment, the 11th Parachute Brigade, the 11th Parachute Command and Signals Company, the 1st Parachute Train Regiment, the 3rd Equipment Regiment, the Joint Force Meteorological-Oceanographic Support Center, the National Navy, the Prison Administration, the Young Firefighters, the Customs, the Employment Integration Establishment, the Youth Air Squadrons, the Universal National Service, associations approved by Civil Security.

Motorized troops:

The Departmental Gendarmerie Group (including an Alpine A110), the 11th parachute brigade, the 11th parachute command and signals company, the 14th parachute infantry and logistical support regiment, the 1st parachute train regiment, the 3rd equipment regiment, the National Police (with in particular 2 5008 vehicles), the Customs of Occitanie, the Municipal Police of Toulouse (with in particular 2 horses), the SAMU 31 (with in particular the mobile decontamination unit), the SDIS 31 .

From 9:15 a.m., information stands on Security and Defense professions (army, gendarmerie, police, etc.) will also be open to the general public, located on the Esplanade des Français d’Afrique du Nord.
