Gard CAF makes a donation of €20,000 in favor of Mayotte
This donation was made to the French Red Cross to support the Mahorais victims.
Chido, the most violent cyclone in 90 years, caused massive destruction, leaving thousands of people homeless and seriously disrupting local infrastructure. In solidarity with this disaster, Caf du Gard made a donation of €20,000 to the French Red Cross from the 2024 social action funds, a decision taken during the Board of Directors last December to support relief operations and assistance to disaster victims.
This contribution aims to provide vital aid, particularly in terms of drinking water, food, hygiene products and material for the construction of temporary shelters, i.e. more than 100 tonnes of material delivered.
