Halifax Regional Police are investigating the death of a man early Sunday morning in Dartmouth, N.S.
-It says officers responded to reports of shots fired at Dartmouth around 3 a.m. and found two people there with gunshot wounds.
They were taken to hospital, where the man died of his injuries. The woman’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The Nova Scotia medical examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
Halifax Regional Police officers will remain on scene in the area of the highway Lahey and the street Clarence has Dartmouthwhile the investigation continues.
