Chosen by Philippe Diallo, Frédéric Thiriez was appointed president of the National Ethics Council. The former boss of the LFP, with a mixed record, is therefore taking office again. He thanked the president of the FFF for thinking of him: “I am very proud to be entrusted with this responsibility. Philippe Diallo offered it to me, it's a mark of trust and I accepted with pleasure. For me it’s a return to my roots., because I remember having contributed to the creation of this body dedicated to ethics”he declared (remarks relayed by The Team). Thiriez thus hopes “breath new life into this body. My intention is to set a real work program to discuss all the hot topics.”
In recent years, Frédéric Thiriez has multiplied his applications to return to the forefront. Aged 72, the native of Neuilly-sur-Seine was president of the LFP from 2002 to 2016.
