The day after the draw for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France, the FFF lifted the veil on the schedule of the matches, played from February 4 to 6.
The French Football Federation (FFF) did not make the wait last. This Thursday, the posters for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France were established during a draw carried out by Daniel Narcisse. Less than 24 hours later, the two broadcasters of the competition made their choices regarding the scheduling of the matches, which was then made official by the FFF via a press release. The first meeting has therefore been set for Tuesday February 4 at 7:00 p.m. with two matches which will take place in parallel. While Troyes will host Brest at the Stade de l'Aube, the other match will pit the winner of the round of 16 between Haguenau and Dunkerque in Lille. If the National 2 club wins on its lawn on January 22, it will have the honor of hosting LOSC. Otherwise, Bruno Genesio's players will host the Ligue 2 resident at the Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre-Mauroy. A first day which will end with the match between Le Mans and Paris Saint-Germain, defending champion of the Coupe de France.
“Little Thumb” will conclude the program
A poster which will benefit from unencrypted broadcast on a group channel France Televisions and whose kick-off was set for 9:10 p.m. The day of Wednesday February 5 will be marked by the holding of four matches which will kick off at 8:45 p.m. and which will be the subject of a multiplex broadcast on the channel beIN Sports 1. There will be the only clash between two elite clubs, pitting Strasbourg against Angers on the pitch at the Stade de la Meinau. At the same time, Toulouse will face Guingamp when Stade Briochin will try to achieve a new feat against Nice while AS Cannes will face Dives Cabourg. At the end of these round of 16, “Petit Poucet” will have the honors of an evening broadcast on Thursday February 6. Indeed, the duel between Bourgoin-Jallieu, who defeated Lyon in the round of 16, and Reims will begin at 9:00 p.m. A meeting which will be preceded by the draw for the quarter-finals, broadcast on the antenna of France 3 from 7:50 p.m. These meetings will take place around February 26.
