Facilitator in charge of actions aimed at families, Élodie Larquemain was able to see in 2024 that sessions sophrology offered for parents, but also for toddlers, have proven to be beneficial on many levels: appeasement, relaxation, openness to others in particular.
“Good in his head, good in his body”
Furthermore, the approach adopted is far from the esotericism that the uninitiated readily imagine about sophrology. On the contrary, they are simple and practical exercises that are used, so that it is possible to redo them once you get home.
Strengthened by this successthe host therefore suggests perpetuate this approach by creating the “Good in your head, good in your body” project, for families always in need of methods to find a little serenity and self-confidence.
In fact, the lifestyles are too often generating stress which affects both parents and children. Sophrology is not the only “zen” activity offered from this perspective, but walks, relaxation, relaxation, massages are also on the menu, as well as, for toddlers, painting or even animal yoga (which allows the postures to be illustrated with images borrowed from wildlife so that children can adopt them more easily).
Until 2024, these activities were rather within the framework of Early Childhood Relays, originally intended for childminders, but the Family Allowance Fund wanted to refocus the specificity of these relays (the CAF and the MSA participate to finance these projects). Since then, the West Coast Center Manche community of communes has regrouped within the Childhood, Youth and Parenting service to perpetuate the projects that fall under its educational policy.
-“Good in your head, good in your body” therefore offers, from the start of the year, a entertainment program, from January 18 to February 8, 2025in The Hague and Périers, aimed at very young people and those a little less young, where sophrology takes a good place, but not only that!
Highlight January 21
The highlight of the project is the January 21 at 8 p.m.: an exchange with a therapist, Véronique Frémond, and a psychomotor therapist, Elasa Pelchat, will allow us to address the question of supporting children with their particularities (for example autistic spectrum or dyslexia), in a practical way (how to fill out a file with the Departmental Center for Disabled People), or in terms of communication (how to talk about it to those around you).
