As usual, many citizens of Conquereuil came to attend the mayor's greeting ceremony organized last Saturday, January 11.

Jacques Poulain insisted on the social, cultural and economic fabric that sustains the commune. For him, the role of elected officials is also to encourage and support these actors present on a daily basis. “In addition to investments and projects, the municipality also has a role in this network to promote living together.”

The year 2025 will be full of events, notably the opening of the childminder house. This structure will be run by the Gustave and Célestine association. On the other hand, the elected official announced the construction of 14 housing units on the site of the sawmill enclosure. A public meeting will be held on this subject this Tuesday, January 21 in the Saint-Donation room.

The mayor confirmed the project to build a new town hall. Work should begin before summer. “We are keen to work with reliable companies that can meet deadlines”. Before adding that these future premises must meet the expectations of the community: quality of service and reception of users and comfort of staff.
