These are in addition to the 241 temporary emergency accommodation places already open for this winter period, from November to March. In total, with the permanent places which amount to 1,911, the total capacity of the accommodation system will be increased to 2,252 places during this cold period. These exceptional openings were able to be ensured in a very short time thanks to the mobilization of accommodation associations, in particular the Diaconat de Bordeaux, the Lien and the Information and Orientation Reception Center (CAIO) that the prefect thanks.
