Several dozen masked Bastia supporters faced the police after SC Bastia's defeat against OGC Nice (0-1), during the 16th final of the French Cup, this Tuesday, January 14, in front of the Armand-Cesari stadium in Furiani.
According to our information, seven CRS (Republican Security Company) were slightly injured during these clashes which took place in front of the northern stand. Faced with agricultural bombs, firecrackers and bottles thrown by supporters, the police responded with numerous shots of tear gas grenades.
Clashes before the match too
Enough to plunge the surroundings of the sports arena into a cloud of tear gas. The Nice players' bus was finally able to leave the scene without incident. The incidents ended around 12:10 a.m.
Clashes had already taken place before the match just before the arrival of the bus transporting the Nice players.
