Faced with the worrying increase in the prostitution of minors, the departmental council of Seine-et-Marne has decided to renew its financial support for the Amicale du Nid.
This association, founded in 1946 and specialized in helping and supporting people (majors or minors) in prostitution, will once again benefit from a grant in the amount of 200 000 euros. This, co-financed by the State up to 50%, was voted on at the end of 2024.
The Amicale du Nid is present in 16 departments
The Amicale du Nid, which counts more than 250 employees and is present in 16 departments, is an association which plays a essential role in the evaluation of situations reported in connection with law enforcement, supporting the decisions of children's judges and supporting professionals from Child Welfare (ASE). She meets more than 4,800 people each year and hosts more than 400.
