After the rain on Sunday, after the wind on Monday, here comes the snow this Tuesday. In the Somme, the fields are covered in white, approximately three centimeters. In some places, the snow even erases the paths.
The snowflakes fell overnight from Monday to Tuesday in the region. The heaviest snow accumulations occur in the Amiens and Vimeu sector, throughout Pas-de-Calais, except the coast where the snow should not stick to the ground. Snow returns Wednesday
You have to be careful on the roads. Rodolphe, salesman, travels the countryside to see his customers. “Above all, you have to drive slowly,” he says in the video above. “We are quite happy that there is a real winter, since it has not happened for several years. The winters were mild and rather very humid”he said. This afternoon, rain is falling in the region. But the snow could return tomorrow.
