The general meeting of Béarn en Somme was held by video with colleagues from Flixecourt. It brought together 29 members (19 for Flixecourt and 10 for Puyoô). The moral report was presented by Carole Larrieu for Puyoô and Didier Mallais for Flixecourt.
The co-presidents wanted to thank the mayors of the respective municipalities for their support, whether financial, logistical and other, during the events, as well as all their members for their involvement throughout the year.
Better readability
The commitment made to improve the readability of the Béarn en Somme association, raising a number of questions as to the nature of its activities, gave rise to specifying on the banner and the Puyôo communication supports, that it is This is a twinning between Puyoô and Flixecourt. For Flixecourt, it is in progress. Béarn en Somme, offers activities different from other associations, which contributes to the visibility of the association.
In 2024, Béarn en Somme organized for the first time a heritage day in Puyoô with the reception of its Flixecourt counterparts: “It is a success allowing a real anchoring of our actions”, explains Carole Larrieu.
Theater, evenings, meals, visits…
The 2025 projects were presented by Isabelle Toullet for Puyoô and Didier Mallais for Flixecourt. In Puyoô, the program is as follows: February 1, play in Gascon followed by a tapas aperitif evening; March 15, St. Patrick's evening with Irish music group, fish and chips evening and broadcast of the France-Scotland rugby match, participation in summer markets, participation in a heritage day in Flixecourt.
In Flixecourt, the following are planned: April 5, disco evening and South-West meal with Basquaise chicken; in June, running a refreshment bar during the cycle race; in September, heritage weekend and visit to the Saint-Frères heritage with the presence of a Puyolese delegation; November, Beaujolais Nouveau evening. One of the flagship projects is to introduce around ten children from the Hector-Malot and Notre-Dame schools, the twin town, from April 14 to 18.
